Population
The population is the basis for many of the core features of An Age of Man as its through this that resources, technology, government, and the military are based. As well as this, the system redefines many aspects common in other grand strategy games and allows us a much more procedural and realistic game.
Every Pixel will have a defined amount of population as well as growth which will define a huge amount of aspects of your country from its military and technological ability to the amount of tax money you receive and how much trade power you have as well as your likelihood for various events such as a revolution, be it in the manner of the French Revolution or the Industrial Revolution.
This system will function based on variables applied to every pop in the country these being religion, culture, wealth, health, age, sex, unrest and later political party. Pops also have a level of freedom ranging from Slave -> Serf -> Castes -> Free, each with different benefits and uses.
